Loyola’s dual Master of Pastoral Studies and MBA degree program is ideal for business leaders who want to integrate Christian spirituality into their work life. The program emphasizes the link between business and ethics, focusing on how your faith can appropriately inform workplace decisions, practices, policies, and behaviors. Students will take advanced courses in both the Institute for Ministry and the School of Business, completing degree requirements for both the Master of Pastoral Studies and the MBA.

Requirements for the Master of Pastoral Studies degree include:

  • Specialized courses in a focus area, such as Digital Culture and Ministry, Youth Ministry, or Religion and Ecology

Requirements for the MBA include:

Program Outcomes

Loyola’s online dual Master of Pastoral Studies and MBA degree program prepares students to be faith-filled business professionals - living their vocation and spreading the Good News in the workplace. To accomplish this, the MPS/MBA program provides students with hands-on expertise in advanced theological and business principles. The immersive MBA curriculum trains students to use data to monitor, control, and improve operational performance while increasing key organizational outcomes.

Graduates of this dual program are prepared to become ethical business leaders in any industry, but particularly for positions at churches and dioceses, non-profit organizations, or Catholic or other faith-based healthcare facilities. Upon graduation, you will have the spiritual grounding and business acumen needed to apply faith-based principles and values to any organization.
